What rubber materials are best for server cabinet seals?

Silicone and EPDM are the most commonly specified materials for server cabinet door seals. Silicone offers a wider temperature range and better compression set resistance for high-density rack environments. EPDM is preferred where ozone and UV resistance are required. We can help you select the right compound or formulate a custom material if your application has requirements beyond standard grades.

Can you manufacture custom gasket profiles for non-standard rack enclosures?

Yes. We specialize in custom profile extrusion and build all of our own extrusion dies in-house, which means we can manufacture door seals and gaskets for any enclosure geometry regardless of whether it matches a standard form factor. This gives us complete dimensional control and allows us to produce custom profiles cost-effectively.

What tubing materials are compatible with liquid cooling systems?

Silicone is the most widely used material for liquid cooling tubing in data centers due to its broad chemical compatibility with common coolants including propylene glycol and deionized water, as well as its excellent flexibility and thermal stability. For applications involving more aggressive chemistries or higher operating temperatures, HNBR or fluoroelastomer compounds may be more appropriate.
